Tip 1: For some information, such as consumer opinions, try searching forums. To do so click the Google discussion groups. Tip 2: You can save or print a whole Web page (If you print it, you may want to reduce the font size first.), or you can select (with your mouse) a part of a page, click File, Print, under Print Range click Selection, and OK. You can also select a part, copy it, paste it into your word processor, and reformat it. It is desirable to save longer pieces such as online books and images to your hard disk and look at them off-line.
Tip 3: If you find a page that indicates that you are in the "right church" but not the "right pew," move your cursor to the end of the URL showing in the "Location:" slot on your browser, clicking to remove highlighting, backspacing to delete the file name and subdirectories one at a time, hitting Enter, and seeing what else is available.
Tip 4: When you are browsing and going from one link to another and if you want to be able to quickly get back to your starting link, hold down the Shift key when you click another link. This will give you a new page that can be deleted when you want to return to the starting link.
Tip 5: Be aware that you can change the starting page on your browser to whatever page or file you wish. Some people may even wish to change it to The Home Library page. Tip 6: Have you selected the font style and size on your browser that best suits you? Some of our eyes aren't what they used to be and need a larger font.
